Calculation scope & snapshot notes

Net worth: the five allocation categories below. Real estate includes manual equity and linked property equity. Business values use your entered profit, multiplier, and ownership.

Annual asset income: entered property, business, and vehicle cash flow, plus dividends and loan income calculated from your entered rates. These are asset inputs, not a record of payments collected. Salary, the Income Buckets budget and cash account interest are not added. Missing linked cash flow is excluded. Older manual rows store zero for blank numeric fields, so a zero alone cannot establish whether income was reviewed.

Cash/misc: cash plus vehicle values minus separate debts. Vehicle debt fields do not reduce this category in the current tracker calculation. Review the source entries when reconciling your balance sheet.

Snapshots: saved points in time. Loading a snapshot restores its tracker inputs; linked properties continue to use their current records. Older snapshots have no legacy assumptions, so your current scenario is retained when you open one.

Your first saved snapshot becomes the starting point. The second one gives this its first movement to show.

Saved history is separate from the current working tracker. It does not fill in or replace your current entries.

Return assumptions & income details

Return assumptions are optional planning inputs. Review them separately from your allocation percentages. Actual ROE is recorded annual income divided by category equity. These calculations use your tracker inputs.

Income is incomplete. Review the income sources in your assets before using ROE to compare your plan.

Equity at your target mix = total net worth × your allocation target. Annual amount at your targets = that equity × your target ROE.

Target percent and target ROE are planning inputs you set for your own goals. They are not expected, projected, or offered returns. The blended and gap figures are calculated from the targets you enter.

Source: your assets and debts below. Cash/misc combines cash and vehicle values, less the balances entered in Debts. Differences show how your current mix compares with your own targets.

How do these inputs affect my picture?

Equity is what you own after the debt counted by this tracker. Annual asset income is the income recorded or calculated from your inputs. Use View sources & edit to trace either total.

ROE divides annual asset income by net worth. Check for missing income before comparing it with your own targets. Edit targets changes your plan; editing an asset changes your recorded picture.

Your working tracker saves as you edit. Save a snapshot when you want a dated comparison, and download a PDF when you want a report to review.
